Needless to say all the puppies are well and Mabel is more than happy to leave them to their proper mother at feeding time! March10 Well on the road to recovery “Sick Chick” whose proper name is Mabel has been helping look after a brood of four Jack Russell puppies. Not long now before she goes back out to her fox proof hen house in the garden leaving the pups to their proper mother.

February 10 One of our hens, Mabel, was trodden on by a horse and has spent quite some time recuperating in the house. So much so this chicken has devolved quite a taste for the finer things in life.

November 09 Whilst the workshops are hard at it getting the Christmas stock ready the ‘Houses for Hens’ road show hits the Mary’s Sale circuit calling at Hullavington, York and Sandown. It is always fun to meet our customers and get positive feedback about our fox proof hen houses.
